Welcome to Palmerosa Campground.

These Terms of Use govern your use of www.palmerosacamp.com and the related online reservation services, including reservations made for Palmerosa Campground and Trails Edge Cabin.

By using our website or completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable Terms of Use, cancellation policies, reservation conditions, and campground rules presented during booking.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our reservation services.

Your use of our website and reservation services is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

Personal information collected during the reservation process may be used to process bookings, collect payments, communicate with guests, provide services, and comply with applicable legal requirements.

Privacy requests and rights will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law, including any relevant state or international privacy requirements.

By using our website or submitting a reservation, you consent to receiving electronic communications related to your reservation.

These may include booking confirmations, payment receipts, arrival instructions, cancellation notices, and other information necessary to administer your stay.

Electronic communications may satisfy applicable written-notice requirements where permitted by law.

Promotional communications are subject to applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.

Persons under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use our reservation services.

Palmerosa Campground does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors accompanying them.

Palmerosa Campground maintains separate cancellation deadlines for campsites and cabins.

RV and Tent Reservations

14 or more calendar days before arrival: Full refund of payments received, less a $25 cancellation fee and separately disclosed nonrefundable booking or processing fees.

Fewer than 14 calendar days before arrival: No refund of campsite payments already collected.

No-shows and early departures: No refunds for unused nights.

Cabin Reservations

The following policy applies to Buckeye Cabin, Dogwood Cabin, and Trails Edge Cabin.

30 or more calendar days before arrival: Full refund of payments received, less a $25 cancellation fee and separately disclosed nonrefundable booking or processing fees.

Fewer than 30 calendar days before arrival: Cabin rental payments already collected are nonrefundable.

No-shows and early departures: No refunds for unused rental nights.

These cancellation policies also apply to holiday reservations.

Cleaning Fees and Taxes

If a cabin reservation is cancelled and the guest does not occupy the cabin, any cleaning fee already collected will be refunded, regardless of the cancellation date.

Applicable taxes will be adjusted as required by law.

Separately disclosed nonrefundable booking and credit card processing fees will not be refunded unless required by law.

Cancellation Requests

Cancellation requests must be received by Palmerosa Campground within the applicable cancellation period.

The cancellation deadline is determined by the scheduled arrival date and Eastern Time.

The date the cancellation request is received—not the date it is processed in the reservation system—determines eligibility.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.

Future scheduled payments will be stopped when an approved cancellation is processed. Any amounts already collected will be handled according to the applicable cancellation policy.

 Reservation Changes and Rescheduling

Guests may request one reservation date change, subject to the following conditions:

RV and tent reservations: Requests must be received at least 14 calendar days before the original scheduled arrival date.

Cabin reservations: Requests must be received at least 30 calendar days before the original scheduled arrival date.

All date changes require management approval and are subject to availability.

A $25 rescheduling fee applies.

New dates must fall within the same camping season.

Any increase in reservation rates must be paid.

Only one reschedule is permitted per reservation.

Important — Nonrefundable After Rescheduling

Once a reservation has been rescheduled, all lodging payments become nonrefundable if the guest subsequently cancels, regardless of how far in advance the cancellation occurs. No further rescheduling is permitted.

Unused cabin cleaning fees remain refundable if the cabin is not occupied.

Guests must acknowledge and accept the rescheduling conditions before the reservation is changed.

Submitting a rescheduling request does not automatically modify or cancel an existing reservation.

Weather and Recreational Conditions

Palmerosa Campground operates rain or shine.

Cancellations due to rain, muddy trails, unfavorable forecasts, hot or cold temperatures, or changes in recreational conditions are subject to the applicable cancellation policy when the campground remains open and the reserved accommodation is available.

Palmerosa Campground does not control public hiking trails, bridle trails, state parks, or other recreational facilities.

Trail closures, conditions, or restrictions do not automatically qualify a reservation for a refund.

If Palmerosa Campground cannot provide the reserved accommodation, an appropriate refund or mutually agreed alternative will be offered.
Nothing in this agreement limits refunds or remedies required by applicable law.

Travel Protection

Optional travel protection may be available during online booking.
Guests are encouraged to consider travel protection for unexpected circumstances that may affect their plans.
Travel protection is administered separately, and coverage, claims, exclusions, and reimbursement are determined by the protection provider's terms and conditions.

All content included as part of the Service, such as text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and any software used on the Site, is the property of Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills or its suppliers and protected by copyright and other laws that protect intellectual property and proprietary rights. You agree to observe and abide by all copyright and other proprietary notices, legends or other restrictions contained in any such content and will not make any changes thereto.

You will not modify, publish, transmit, reverse engineer, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, found on the Site. Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills content is not for resale. Your use of the Site does not entitle you to make any unauthorized use of any protected content, and in particular you will not delete or alter any proprietary rights or attribution notices in any content. You will use protected content solely for your personal use and will make no other use of the content without the express written permission of Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills and the copyright owner. You agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights in any protected content. Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills reserves the right, at its own cost, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills in asserting any available defenses.

In the event the parties are unable to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, whether in contract, tort, equity, or otherwise, the dispute shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single neutral arbitrator and administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its applicable rules.

The arbitrator's award shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

If any legal or equitable action, proceeding, or arbitration arises out of or relates to these Terms and Conditions, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its reasonable costs and attorney's fees.

The parties agree to arbitrate all disputes and claims arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, including claims arising directly or indirectly and any related tort claims.

The Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration provision. The arbitrator shall determine the scope and enforceability of this provision. This arbitration provision shall survive the termination of these Terms and Conditions.

Any arbitration under these Terms and Conditions will take place on an individual basis; class arbitrations and class/representative/collective actions are not permitted. THE PARTIES AGREE THAT A PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN EACH'S INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PUTATIVE CLASS, COLLECTIVE AND/ OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING, SUCH AS IN THE FORM OF A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION AGAINST THE OTHER. Further, unless both you and Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills agree otherwise, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.

THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES INCLUDED IN OR AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS. CHANGES ARE PERIODICALLY ADDED TO THE INFORMATION HEREIN. Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS MAY MAKE IMPROVEMENTS AND/OR CHANGES IN THE SITE AT ANY TIME.

Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SUITABILITY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINESS, AND ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND RELATED GRAPHICS CONTAINED ON THE SITE FOR ANY PURPOSE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL SUCH INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND RELATED GRAPHICS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND. Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH REGARD TO THIS INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND RELATED GRAPHICS, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills AND/OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SITE, WITH THE DELAY OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE OR RELATED SERVICES, THE PROVISION OF OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SERVICES, OR FOR ANY INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND RELATED GRAPHICS OBTAINED THROUGH THE SITE, OR OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills OR ANY OF ITS SUPPLIERS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGES. BECAUSE SOME STATES/JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH ANY PORTION OF THE SITE, OR WITH ANY OF THESE TERMS OF USE, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USING THE SITE.

Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Ohio in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Site. Use of the Site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these Terms, including, without limitation, this section.

You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills as a result of this agreement or use of the Site. Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Site or information provided to or gathered by Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills with respect to such use. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.

Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills with respect to the Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills with respect to the Site. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be written in English.

Palmerosa Campground reserves the right to update its Terms of Use and reservation policies.

Updated cancellation and refund policies apply to reservations made on or after their effective date. Reservations made before a policy change remain subject to the cancellation and refund terms accepted at the time of booking.

Changes to an existing reservation require agreement to any applicable new reservation conditions.

Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills respects and complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Some of the keyways we comply with these regulations are:

We explain what you're consenting to clearly and without ‘legalese', and ask that you explicitly consent to contact from us.

In the case of a security break with regards to Palmerosa Campground | Hocking Hills, all guests and businesses of Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills are notified through our break notification system.

Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills does not share or sell your information with unauthorized outside third parties. You can ask for a digital copy of your information that we have on file as well as asking for its removal.

You must opt-in to receive e-mails and communications from Palmerosa  Campground | Hocking Hills. All e-mails have an unsubscribe option if you change your mind.
